Olive oil is purported to have regenerative and restructuring virtues and has great skin moisturizing properties - it has been the skin oil of choice for millenia!
Beeswax, even after removed from the beehive, remains a biologically active product retaining anti-bacterial properties. It also contains vitamin A, which is essential for human cell development. Throughout time, people have used it as an antiseptic and for healing wounds. I am the organic beekeeper.
Aloe vera promotes skin healing, and has anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties. Aloe vera also contains a rich source of amino acids, vitamins A, C, F, B, niacin and traces of Vitamin B12.
Grapefruit oil is widely used in cosmetics for its cellulite-fighting and lymphatic system-boosting properties. It is also used for clearing up congested skin, helping to fight acne, and reduce puffiness. And of course, grapefruit is loaded with Vitamin C which is also excellent for the skin.
This one ingredient makes up less than 1/2 of a % of the cream: Borax is a naturally occurring mineral. It is used to partly saponify the oils in the cream, and as a preservative.
