I make this salve by hand, using freshly picked (sustainably harvested), wild jewelweed (Impatiens capensis) from my organic farm. The pickings are air dried and then slowly infused into premium oils and blended with fresh beeswax from my hives to create an all-natural soothing balm. Jewelweed is anti-inflammatory, anti-histamine, and anti-fungal, and has been used for centuries for poison ivy.
It is often found growing right next to poison ivy. It also been used successfully to treat other skin ailments, including eczema, bug bites, nettle rashes, and fungal infections.

This product contains no preservatives other than Vitamin E, so it must be stored in the refrigerator after opening. I would also suggest that you use a clean cotton swab to scoop the salve from the container, and not your fingertips. Use a clean swab each time. This will help keep it from molding.
The salve comes to you in a plastic wide-mouthed jar, which provides better access to the product, yet seals good and tight.
